A simple way to remove Spyware

When it comes to spyware most people suffer through hours of scans and re-search and downloading special tools just to remove the spyware on their system. If you have ever had to remove spyware before then you know the feeling.

This is not the end all method but it will help to save you lots of time.

When using the system restore function you need to go back to a date when your computer did not have the spyware installed. You will not loose any documents but any software installed after the date selected will be removed including the virus software. It will also undo registry settings and that really helps you out as well. Once the system restore is complete you still need to run you anti-virus and anti-spyware software to clean up any left over traces. This time however your security software should be able to remove the traces because they should no longer be active. It is very important to do the scan right away because you most likely will get re-infected if you do not.

Having a good firewall and security software is a must. Free programs on the web do not do a good enough job.
