What Socks Mean To Me

One part of your wardrobe that is just as as stylish as ever and can be worn by men and women with virtually anything is argyle socks. These timeless socks have been around for years and do not look to be leaving the market anytime soon.

They can come in many different styles and especially colors so they can match with many outfits. Many times the style of the individual is designed to make them be individual. Argyle socks are perfect for this as some creative looks can be made with the designs that are on them. This can not be said of normal white or one color socks which tend not to make a fashion contribution at all.

Birthday Present For Dad Ideas

Most Dads like tools, for the home or the office. A stick on basketball net or a miniature air hockey table would be a good birthday present for Dad. There are smaller gadgets too, like a card shuffler or a combination bottle opener and lighter. Men never quite grow out of swiss army knives or model aero planes. A scale model of the starship Enterprise would keep him out of mischief for a while. You can always get him something that you can challenge him with, such as a shoot ‘em up computer game. But my dad would really like a pair of Argyle socks.

Striped Socks If You Dare

Striped dress socks are extremely significant to me. I work in a professional environment, and I am required to old fashioned suit, complete with a power tie and well tailored pants. It is alright, and it looks really good on me, but it is a little bit old fashioned and sedate for my taste. With my striped dress socks, I get to express myself on at least one aspect of my clothing. It is almost like a small rebellion, a way of asserting identity in what is, by and large, a very conformist workplace.
