“it’s Not The Gift, It’s The Effort”
Ever wondered what is the best [present that you can give your manager or perhaps your CEO. If your department is planning on a surprise anniversary party for your manager, or the company as a whole is organizing a birthday party for the CEO, the one thing that takes up much of your time is the gift selection. Therefore, a simple briefcase or a silver business card case will do. What would make these gifts unique is if you specifically choose the color that your manager or your CEO likes. Moreover, you may have their names engraved on these items to make it more personalized. These business card cases will surely speak thousands if you also engrave simple yet powerful messages such as “thank you”, “good luck” or happy birthday.” With their profession, your manager or your CEO will certainly appreciate this simple yet meaningful gift.
So you see, giving a special gift does not have to take a considerable amount of your time. But this does not mean that you didn’t exert an effort in finding for this gift. On the other hand, it means that you have veered away from the conventional meaning of “gift giving effort”. It means that you have been creative and wise at spending that effort.
