Gone are the days when all we have to give our boyfriends, husbands, brothers, or fathers are handkerchiefs, shirts, ties, or socks. At present, we are provided with more choices - choices that will speak more about the giver and the recipient, choices that will demonstrate our effort at finding that gift.

Guys who are fond of camping, mountain trekking, and even just plain hiking would be more than happy to receive flasks as presents from you. 2008 is a favorite year for couples to get married. Well, perhaps because of the number 8, and the Chinese say it is a lucky number. Whether you believe this or not, it would not hurt if you give out engraved cufflinks to your brother, friend, or colleague who is a groomsman on another friend’s wedding. These are perfect as groomsman gifts. Aside from keeping a groomsman’s cuffs in place, these will also create a statement of their being fashionable. In addition to being a unique gift, you can even put short messages in these engraved cufflinks. A simple “hello”, “good luck”, “thank you”, or “you’re the best” can translate into ounces of positive feelings on the part of the recipient.
