As the manager of an ecommerce web site dedicated to the topic of art light for the past decade, I have encountered questions on every possible issue that people have discovered on the topic of artwork lighting and the methods used to provide it. Probably the most common question that we receive almost daily is that of the issue of seeing the cord. The question is asked by just about everyone and people ask it as a way of making a decision as to if they will purchase a picture light. The question of eliminating the cord can be answered best by expressing many of the methods we have encountered to eliminate the need or to hide the cord leading from the electric outlet up to the picture light.

One of the most sure fire ways to deal with the cord involves hiding it from sight. By installing a recessed outlet,sometimes referred to as a clock outlet, directly behind the actual picture the entire cord and circuit can be removed from view. Our customers typically go to the extreme and then cut the cord to the proper, smaller length and then use a device called a snap on plug to allow for the secure link to be made from the switch to an electrical plug to the cord. We then will recommend that the customer install a dimmer switch on the circuit.

The use of a cover that will go over the cord always works well. The cord covers can give the visual impression that the cord will disappear. The cord covers are also very easy to install. When people ask where they can get cord covers we recommend that they go to their local home improvement store. The covers are typically on display in the paint section or the electrical section of the store.

Another inexpensive method that can be used in lessening the visibility of the cord is to simply paint it. Just about every cord on lamps sold in our online store is paintable. While I am not one hundred percent positive about cords of other picture lights, ours are all paintable. Painting the cord the same color of the wall will allow the cord to blend in so well that the cord will barely be able to be seen.

Another less expensive alternative that does not involve electricity is to place plants, furniture, display tables or other decor in a position to hide most of the cord. My wife and I have used this tactic in our house and it seems to work great in the longer hallway where the picture lights are installed. We have used a staple gun to help attach the cord to the baseboard. This keeps the cord from having any curves in it and really improves its appearance.

Finally, we recommend that our customers consider using a battery powered picture light. The picture lights will offer only a minimum of light but are very good looking and will last up to 45 hours. A few models are even rechargeable.

I am going to tell you about the mastiff dog breed and what I give Charlie . As you can imagine Charlie is my mastiff. He is an English Mastiff. There are quite a few breeds out there which have their own qualities but I stopped at Charlie. He is of the dark fawn-brindle ( flecked in browns) persuasion and of average size and weight(32 inches tall and nearing 190 lbs).

Food For Mastiffs

Firstly , let me tell you all that I have heard success stories will all different types of diets for mastiffs from Pure meat to almost vegetarian but this is what I feed mine and it has done Charlie wonders. I got this recipe from a friend of the family that had an English Mastiff for as long as I have known him and his have always seemed full of energy an enthusiastic. Well full of energy for a mastiff that is.

I started feeding Charlie puppy kibble and it seemed to be doing just fine but once he became a teen he started looking like he needed a little more. I tried just feeding him more kibble at the beginning but he still seemed skinny and a little sleepy. That’s when I started feeding him what he eats now and it has worked.

Napolean Mastiffs

I main ingredients are ground turkey, brown rice and raw veggies. Mainly carrots broccoli and cauliflower. I cook a half pound of ground turkey till tis done and add about half a cup of cooked brown rice. I chop up about a cups worth of vegetables until they are small enough to where I wouldn’t need to cut them if I ate them. I mix them all together and serve it to him after it cools. I also place his bowl on a stool so he doesn’t have to bend over to eat. He eats everything to the last drop .

I do this two times a day once for breakfast and once for dinner. I have made a few meals and saved them in the fridge and that seems to work just fine too. One thing i have never done is made tons and frozen it and fed it to him over a week or two but I can only assume that would work too and maybe even be cheaper seeing as how you could buy it in bulk.

Mastiff Breeds

I was very surprised. You could see Charlie changing and within a month or so he had a shinier coat and more energy. He even started putting on some lean muscle weight. Charlie is now a very enthusiastic English Mastiff he has energy I have a friend that has an American Bandogge Mastiff and he loves this diet too so I can only imagine that every type of the mastiff dog breed would too. I love this breed and i love my good ole dog so I hope you try this diet for a while and see of it makes your dog as enthusiastic and healthy as mine.

It’s good to take a vacation once in a while and take away all the stress and tension from work. Having a great adventure out of town or going to the beach and watch beautiful ladies in bikinis is a great way to relax and forget about computers and paperworks. Speaking of beaches we had a great weekend last month where me and my guy friends went to an island which is not very well known out of our town.
We heard strange rumors about that island but as boys we were more determined to find out the truth ourselves on what lyes beyond it. So before we set our foot on that island we prepared a lot of things like shelter and food so we brought along with us a tent, a lot of food, clothing, sleeping beds, utensils, tools, lotions and Sunglasses for protection.
Getting there was more than an adventure first we have to take a barge to cross the sea from which that island and the city has been separated. Then we commute to get near the mountain from which the island has been covered. After that we climb up the rocky hill and hiked a short distance down to a the entrance of a small residence that looks like a home. From there we realized it was a beautiful resort. A beach of white sand and clear water, rocky mountains and fine limestones, tall trees and lots of nipa huts to stay in. We didn’t expect that it would be that beautiful.
Finally we had arrived to the beautiful resort at first we thought we were alone but there are group of people that came ahead of us. As we expected there were beautiful ladies in their bikinis walking along the shore, some women reading in their Designer Reading Glasses while sunbathing on the beach, others where cooking and playing.
So we jumped right in the water and joined the fun without even changing our clothes. The day was full of fun until finally evening came. the night was more beautiful than the day. Sunburned and exhausted as we went home. Some of us cleaning their eyeglasses from the thick dust nevertheless the experience was great and awesome.
