My book club is on Thursday nights. My friend has more problems than I ever imagined. One of the horse’s offspring, who adored her mother, had equine depression because of the older horse’s condition. Nancy’s problems were too much to handle. When I put the litter box into the crate with them, they thought is was a bed and slept in it. Nothing seemed to work, they would not use the litter box until we stopped for the night. They will not really eat or drink much so long as they are under the weight of the tranquillizer.

When you’ve got sleepy cats, getting them from the car to the motel room and back is not an issue. I used to take a small carrier with me to make this transport until I discovered that the cats could simply be carried in my arms. They were drowsy, but they also knew the drill–My cats have never tried to run, or even get out of my arms, until they were safely inside. If you are going to carry them in your arms, then you will want to park as close to the door as possible.

Your cat will need certain items in their new overnight “home”. Include their food and water bowls, kibble in a large screw top container, and throwaway litter boxes, which are sold in pet and grocery stores. These litter boxes are easy to get at your local department store or grocery. Once in the motel room, simply remove the paper and they will use it. These boxes are convenient as you can just throw them away as you leave the room.

Never get a room at a motel that does not allow pets, even at night it is dangerous to leave a pet in the car. It may cost an extra $10 to $15 per pet, but it’s worth it. You don’t have to sneak your animals in or worry about spilled litter or food. By the way, cats love to explore these new rooms each night.

Equestrian is an art that will never die. It has been popular, in a way, since medieval times. Since then it has become a refined sporting activity. Being able to ride horses opens up a few different paths. There is Rodeo style riding, which requires barrel racing saddles. In addition, there is jumping and horse shows, for which you have to haveshow saddles. Different saddles are needed since there are such different types of movements required for each style riding.
Rodeo riding is the more rigorous of the two types. This type of riding includes barrel races. In barrel races, the rider and horse have to work their way through a slalomed course of barrels. This takes place inside a Rodeo pen. Also, there are competitions for bull and cattle herding. These competitions are not as well knows or as safe as barrel racing. The rider has to control the bull or herd of cattle and try to rope them in, or steer them into a pen. If rodeo riding doesn’t seem like your style but you love riding, I would suggest show riding.
Show riding is lower impact and much more refined than barrel racing. Show riding sees very well-to-do people and average people join as well. These events include courses of jumps and obstacles. The major difference between this and barrel racing is the location. They take place in nice, green, show arenas. It is a big difference to the dirty, rustic rodeo pens. Also, the horse’s appearance will be judged and scored. The riders have to make sure their horse is well groomed and trained before hand. There is a separate section all on the horse’s stance, appearance, and obedience. If the horse gets very low marks here, it often cannot be made up for even with a perfect ride.
