But why do people still spend some time and a significant amount of their savings or income for that must-have Art? A particular Art that is a product of wonderful artistry and amazing craftsmanship can not stop us from spending our time and money on it. Upon seeing one that takes our breath away and makes our heart beat stop for a while, we would then find adjusting our budget a little so we can satisfy our artistic craving.
Why Buy Art
There are many reasons why people buy art. The most common reason why people buy art is because of its beauty. Because of their unique beauty, decorative art can beautify any place. Private art collectors, museums, galleries, and art dealers buy art for the purpose of business or investment. Many collectors and hobbyists buy art for the purpose of investment.
Art is usually purchased because of its aesthetic value and personal value. Before thinking of its value in the years to come, you might as well think of buying it because it uniquely captures your own personality. A great art is the one that can, somehow, speak to you or for you.
The Best Places to Buy Art
You can buy Art pretty much from anywhere. Local galleries or the nearest art shops might have that framed canvas art that is perfect for your home. You might as well find that to-die-for framed canvas art from in one of the many cafes in tourist locations that often act as a gallery for a local artist. Oftentimes, amazing pieces of framed canvas art may be found in souvenir shops. Private galleries are a great place to buy art.
In addition to buying art from local markets, online studios, galleries, and art auctions are gaining more popularity nowadays. The best thing about buying art online is you do not have to spend an arm and a leg for it. You do not have to spend on expensive gas when you choose to buy art online. More often than not, rare art pieces and original oil paintings can be found online. Many collectors and artists display their works and collection online because the Internet has countless viewers which are potential buyers for them. As long as you are aware of the fraud and all scams that can happen online, you will surely get a good deal for your money when you purchase art online.
Online art auctions make it easy and convenient to browse and buy original art pieces and oil reproduction paintings. It is a unique experience joining the bidding war and experiencing the auction from their computer screens. You can also shop for oil art reproductions from the comfort of your home through an On-Line Gallery.
Tips on How to Buy Art Online
The Internet has significantly changed the way Art is sold or bought. The Art market is now an email or a click of the mouse away. The Internet is flooded with art sites that offer attractive promos like secure shopping, money back guarantees, and efficient customer support; however, it is still best to prepare for the unexpected.
When you buy oil paintings you are limited to mere pictures. It is therefore important that you follow your heart and use your brain so you can get the art that you want. Your individual taste, the primary use of the art you will buy, and your budget should be your important considerations when buying art online. The Internet will provide you with a wide array of art web sites and access to countless fine art. It will not hurt if you email chosen online art dealers to ask questions or photos of a particular art piece. Most importantly, never buy oil paintings for the purpose of investment; rather choose the one that you will fall in love with. By following what truly appeals to you, your chosen art will surely ease away any stress; and surely that is something that money can never buy.

Tattoo should be given serious thoughts to as regret can set in later if tattoos no longer serve their original purpose. Removing a tattoo can be a very expensive and painful procedures. While tattoos can be beautiful, lifelong pieces of work which you can be forever proud of, it can only happen if you get it for the right reasons in the first place. If you are not sure if you will be able to live with a real tattoo, I would suggest that you consider temporary tattoos first. You can also check out what body tattoo there are.

Tourist stuff was always ok, but, to me, lacked thought when it came to someone who I thought of as a great friend. Walking down a small side street, in a shop window, there it was! A beautiful silver necklace with symbols on it that, I must admit, I was not quite sure what they meant. Chinese symbol jewelry was what had caught my eye. There are many symbols, this store alone boasted 275, and if they did not have it, they could make it. I chose “best friend” for the necklace I purchased for my friend. She loved it and I have never regretted finding that special gift for her.

Barcodes
, or UPC symbols, these ubiquitous emblems of our consumer civilisation, have received a radical makeover by a Japanese firm D-Barcode - and this time their ideas were printed on grocery products all over Japan.
Simple, yet brilliant ideas:
The first time you pick your bottle of pop or a package of milk, you might not even notice anything different, with all the intensity and typical clutter of Japanese package design. But take a closer look - and the charmingly designed UPC masterpieces will amuse you, make you smile, and might even cause you to go hunting for other products, to start your collection.
Trust Japanese to “glorify” every single mundane detail, to cheerfully enhance consumer experience - by adding something extra, a little thing, so easy to miss. But now, with these creative bar codes, the package design in Japan has truly become perfect.
Other barcode art pops up from time to time: This is “Flowers” by Dave Herbert - via
Russian Barcode Posters
Art Lebedev design studio has been issuing wildly creative posters (featuring barcode symbolics) for years. View the whole creative gallery of them here and download some for your desktops. Some examples:
As you can see, there is truly an abundance of ideas… It seems that barcode symbols are ingrained in the very fabric of our reality. Philip K. Dick, for once, would’ve certainly spotted a conspiracy in all this. As for us, we’ll just keep shopping and innocently buying everything that scans.
Barcodes permeate modern design
Just try to have an exhibition of modern furniture without a few examples popping up, like this one:

Portraits, made entirely from UPC codes and barcodes? Sure, check out the gallery of Scott Blake. He’s got Monroe, Elvis and, of course, Jesus - which is a commentary on the consumerism and kitsch of our times.

And as it is a custom nowadays to finish with a cute or LOL-lified cat pictures, no matter what the subject of an article, here are the “Barcode Kitties!” - Hello Kitty spin-off for those in need of a truly geeky cuteness:
