Dog Is Jealous Of My Baby

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Are you bringing a new into the home soon? Well if you are there are some things that you will need to prepare yourself for when you have a puppy in the home as well. It is important to firstly remember that a puppy loves being the center of attention and once a new is brought into the home, jealousy may happen. Second off, a puppy will feel also as if the is one of his siblings and a play friend.

Preparing your puppy for a new arrival is an important task that must never be overlooked. There are three great to help you prepare for the new arrival as a way of helping your puppy adjust as well as reducing the amount of jealous behaviors which may arise.

1) You firstly need to make sure that your puppy socializes with small children in your home. While for some families this may not be possible, with many others, it only requires inviting a friend over who has their own child and let the two get accustomed to each other. You need to teach the puppy that the child is not there to harm them and that the puppy does not have to be on the defensive.

Chances are that at first your puppy may seem a bit aggressive at the toddler, so you may want to give the children some dog treats to carry in their hands. This will teach the puppy to relate the child with something positive and relieves a lot of tension that is sure to arise once a new arrives in the home.

2) love repetition. Everything in their life is based on a schedule, when you come home from work every day, the puppy knows it is time to go outside and go potty or play in the yard. Preparing your dog for the means creating a repetitious schedule in your home. To do this, go out and get a doll in which you can practice gong through a daily routine. Have the puppy around as you pretend to feed the doll, change the doll’s diapers as well as lay the doll down for nap time. Do this for several weeks before you bring in the new and your puppy will get accustomed to the new schedule in the home which can help to overcome the fact that the puppy will no longer be getting all of the attention in the home.

3) You also need to make sure that you stop any aggressive games. A simple game like tug-of-war can be a dangerous one. The puppy may feel as if the is playing the game with his blanket or even his towel and can result in the getting injured. Furthermore, the puppy may even view the as a toy that he can play with and for that reason, ceasing any aggressive games can prove to be a very important decision for anyone.

Useful Info for the Cartoon Baby Drawing

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

So you want to create a cartoon baby, do you? Well, let me show you how. The process is simple. First, create a rough sketch. Next, draw in some details. Third, clean up the draft and finally color it in. Sounds simple. Well, it is. If you have any kind of talent with art you’ll be the proud parent of your very own in no time.

When you decide that you want to create a the most important thing to do is create a rough sketch. A rough sketch will allow you to get a feel for the design without taking hours to draw it. If you decide you want to change your design you just change your sketch without throwing away all those hours of work.

After you have the general design you should add the detail to your . It is helpful to make photocopies of your rough design so that you can try different variations to give you a character of its own.

When the details are done clean up the draft of the cartoon baby. If you are working on paper trace your draft so that the lines are clean. If you want to digitize your this is a good time to do so. Once it is digitized make sure it looks exactly the way you want it to look before you move on.

Finally you can color your . Here again it is wise to make copies of your artwork and try different colors schemes. Try lots of different color combinations. The more combinations you try, the better your final color selection will be. Color selection is best done on the computer. Once the character is digitized you can change the colors with the click of a button.

That’s it, now you have your own . How do feel to be the world newest parent? Okay, so he doesn’t do much. He just sits there. If you want to bring your to life you have to animate him. I will give you the basic steps to do this, but if you need more information I have a great article on how to do that in flash. Bringing your to life is just a matter of dissecting him. What I mean is that you have to draw his body parts in many different positions. For example, if I wanted to draw his head in many positions such as: from the side, looking at me, and half-way in between each of these positions. I would do this so that when it became time to animate my , all I would need to do is put that the appropriate pieces together to make the appear to move its head.

After all of the parts are drawn in the various positions you need to make a story line for your character. If this is your first creation, make the story simple. Comic strips are excellent examples of simple story lines, because they are depicted in just a few frames and generally can be easily animated.

Baby Baskets: How To Pick The Perfect Unique Baby Shower Basket

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

The birth of a is always a special occasion, and many people want to help the new parents out by buying a Unique Baby Shower Basket or presents for the new family. The possibilities are almost endless, and there is an unlimited list of things a young family will appreciate.

showers are a traditional way to celebrate the impending arrival of a new , and to give thoughtful Baby Gift Baskets that new parents will need to take care of the . Planning a shower can be lots of fun, but where do you start? Planning a shower can make one’s head reel (though not to the extent of spewing green pea soup with our head twisted backward)! I’m sure you get the picture. Any event of this kind, whether it is a shower, wedding shower, or bachelorette party, can be stressful if it’s not well planned! Who wants to be remembered as the disastrous host who threw the “memorable for all the wrong reasons” gathering?! Yes, there are lots of decisions to be made, and it is the responsibility of the host to pull it off without a snap. Take it one step at a time and plan it thoroughly so that you don’t forget a thing!

Planning a shower is not the easiest task on the face of the earth. There are so many details to consider when organizing such an event that it is easy to become lost in the confusion. It is always a good idea to create lists and it is always a good idea to delegate responsibility when planning a shower.

One of the mistakes the organizer commonly makes is trying to do too much on her own. Why run from store to store when you know that Cousin Sally works right next to a great discount store? She can run one or two errands for you. Include Cousin Sally when you are planning a shower. You will be surprised by how delighted she will be to help. If she isn’t, then there is really no loss. You just have to work around it.

If you look online, you will find a wide range of Baby Shower Gifts. Many of the standards are available, along with some unique you may not have considered. You know the new family best, so keep them in mind when you shop for presents.

Sometimes surprises should be left in the gift wrapped boxes rather than in the guest list. Another good idea to go over the guest list with the mother-to-be while planning a shower for her. This works out well and the guest list will be one less thing you have to remember.

Change My Baby Boy Name

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

Some would say that I was just a usual boy always willing to test the limits of patience, or having fun that would make big people shrink. Could this be? Maybe all these little boy things is why my Mom complained that I was the cause of her rapid ageing and grey hair. But, really, honestly, what did I do?

Could my Mom have meant my little accident on our sloping sidewalk in front of the house, the sidewalk that had a big piece of cement missing right in the middle? There was so much fun to be had zooming down the sloping sidewalk. Well, it was a great day as I zoomed ever faster down the slope with the wind gently caressing my face, with arms held out straight, no hands, and paddling like an evil demon. It was great flying through the air as I hit that hole. But, while flying was exhilarating, the landing was awful especially since I landed ungracefully upon my tiny chin hurtling in continuing circles before coming to an abrupt stop. Those recollections are still vividly clear to this day. While stretched unceremoniously upon the kitchen table being stitched up by the local doctor, and without the benefit of modern day local freezing. I wonder if this was the kind of graying and ageing moment mom meant. She use to have a book with a collection of what she called her babies quotes. This particular day she quoted to the book, “Children are a handful sometimes, a heart full all the time.”

Or, was it that time that I was cycling down the town hill merrily on my way to the school picnic riding with no hands, peddling like mad? I know I could zoom through the only intersection at the bottom of the hill in spite of the stop sign. After all, this was my day; this was my moment of glee without a care in the world with little regards for traffic that was almost always nonexistent in this my little town. What a piece of work that guy was for sticking his passenger door right in front of my bike in order to abruptly stop my momentum. I didn’t ask him to pick me up from the pavement, nor did I ask him to follow me home as I gently guided my bent bicycle. Nor did I ask him to relate to my Mom all the vivid details and his concern that he could have really hurt me. So what’s the big deal mom; I’m still in one piece although slightly bruised and scraped. I wonder if that is why she used to say that she picked the wrong baby boy name for me?

On the other hand, maybe it was when I rocketed up the centre hall stairs maneuvering my thrashing legs around the landing on my way to my upstairs bedroom to play. So, who was the culprit that left the stepladder there so it could come falling down on my head. Really Mom; it only hurt a bit despite the extra hole in my head and a gush of blood. Mom, you do realize, of course, that it is natural to take a few bangs and bruises as they develop their avoidance skills, don’t you?

I really think my Mom made it all up just to justify the graying hair and the many wrinkles. I didn’t do anything; I was just a ordinary, playful, funny, good little boy. And, besides, I also had brothers and sisters who probably did a lot more to cause parental stress than me, right mom?

Years later, when I had my first child, my Mom gave me what she called a baby message, which at the time I really didn’t understand. Her message was “what goes around, comes around”. Thanks Mum, I now understand!
