Comcast was becoming a cost that was out of sight for me. In the mail I received an invitation to have everything put on my Verizon bill, otherwise known as a bundle. This would include satellite tv. I called them and found a dish satellite, in the end, would be cheaper than having my cable bill done separately. Now, I wasn’t too thrilled with the prospect of having some grotesque dish sitting on my house, but neither was I thrilled to pay close to $80.00 a month for cable. The technician came just a few days later, found a spot on the roof that would face south and took an hour or so to hook it up and get it activated. The very first night with a storm, I lost the signal and didn’t have any tv for well over an hour. According to my neighbors, this is a pretty common occurence.
